Theo McDonnell
Director/Operations Manager
Theo is the Director of the business and has over 20 years industry experience. Theo completed his Apprenticeship in New Zealand before heading overseas to London where he worked in management roles on large scale commercial Electrical projects. After 4 years he returned back to New Zealand and started up business in Wellington. He has worked hard on business development over the past 3 years and is the driving force behind developing Cableworks Electrical to be a leader within the industry. As if running a business is not busy enough, Theo spends most of his free time with his kids (3 and 5) or on some sort of adventure fishing, mountain biking, snowboarding, running, if its outdoors he’s into it.
Laura McDonnell
Owner/ Marketing and Finance Manager
Laura works part time within the business primarily in
Marketing, Finance and Business Development. Laura is
qualified in Psychology, Sociology and Human Resources and comes from a finance/banking background. Her role within the business is to ensure that we don’t get complacent and that we constantly look to evolve and grow as our customers and business require. On top of this Laura is a full time Mum to our two little legends (Niah 5 and Beau 3) and spends her (minimal) spare time being active and creative, Dog walks on the beach, making pottery, and socialising with friends.
Dylan Crofskey
Electrician
Dylan is a Qualified Electrician with 7 years industry experience. His previous work experience has been mostly in residential, ranging from high-end quality homes to basic builds. Dylan has extensive technical knowledge, comes to us with glowing references and is a great asset to our team. He has strong work ethic and picks things up like a champ! When Dylan is not pumping out quality electrical work you can find at the gym doing Cross-Fit or with his family.
Sage Coan
Administrator
Sage comes to us with over 4 years experience in customer service and administration. What stood out when we employed Sage was her excellent people skills and phone manner. She really cares about the customer and going the extra mile, not to mention her great eye for detail! Sage will be the one answering your initial call and will walk you through the process from start to finish. An ace in the office and our current reigning Go Kart Campion for 2023. When not beating the team at Go Karts Sage is hard at work in the gym or traveling around the country in her campervan.
Ryan Miller
Third Year Apprentice
Ryan began his apprenticeship with us 3 years ago. After
having relatives in the industry he had a good knowledge of what it takes to be an Electrician. Since being with us he has really grown into his own. He is a hard worker, always on time and ready to get stuck in. We were so proud of him last year when he won the Apprenticeship Training Trusts award for dedication to his training, a very well deserved award! Ryans an active guy, hitting the gym, playing football, learning musical instruments, enjoying music festivals and learning to DJ.
